I have just received word that the Prime Minister has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the friendly mounties have been swept away.

Seems to have gotten it by default. None of the "opposition" parties seem interested in opposing him in any substantial manner, so he's able to act like he has a majority government despite the fact that he doesn't.
