My kids work in govt/university in DC. They were visiting a few weeks ago and had never heard of this ongoing battle in Louden county (I mentioned it). My daughter has subscriptions to the NYT and wapo and of course they are very well educated; and yet they had never heard a peep about these school board villains.

They just bought a house in Silver Springs Md, it's cute I hope they're happy. I'm the family outlaw and that will probably never change.
