Latest story where I live is that unvaxxed are tying up beds preventing cancer patients from getting surgeries.

An acquaintance of mine reposted a gut wrenching monologue from her doctor husband about their hospital (in a town of 141k) being over run with unvaccinated people dying. I'm just wondering what these people get out of outright lying at this point? Is it all virtue signal? Genuinely befuddled.
