I've honestly been a bit confused on why Simon Biles is making the news so much. Then a friend pointed out the US isn't doing as well in medals. They lead in gold's, but not overall.

Hotter take: The IOC is a literal international mafia and its senior officials and board of directors should join Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.
Most Giant public events are meaningless. The entire spectacle is to promote a pride in a group that probably has nothing else in common.
