Remember Monsanto and the bullshit they pulled with seeds to make farmers dependent on them? Yeah I don't trust big corporations, and I don't know what's wrong with people that all of a sudden think they are the saviors of humanity.

There's a second prong here- glyphosphate ties up certain nutrients in the soil, which means you either have to grow organically... or buy synthetic fertilizer to replace the nutrition that the synthetic herbicide tied up...
