Their welfare state and non-existent birth rate will force mass importation of foreigners. Yes, it will be bad for their culture. Not worth considering. It WILL happen. They can eliminate the soon-to-be-bankrupt welfare system or they can increase their birthrate. They will do neither.
How come when someone talks about this cutting the welfare doesn’t cross their mind as an option?
Look at Europe - they imported foreigners, who went on welfare.
How is importing foreigners still a legitimate argument to falling birth rates?
Asian culture is based around the group not the individual so Socialized medicine and welfare are considered good for the betterment of the group and country. Some may think one or both are bad ideas but they'll never voice that opinion publicly due to the possibility of being seen as a 'trouble maker' or a deviant which would kill social relationships and employment opportunities. First rule of Japanese society is don't make waves and don't make trouble for others. The phrase "the nail that sticks out gets hammered down" comes from there, it's 出る釘は打たれる in Japanese.....They also don't have the same single mom and welfare queen problems the west does due to social stigmas and fears becoming an outcast so couple either work it out or they have side guy/girls or go to the local soapland to bang hookers (cheating is semi tolerated and going to a hooker isn't viewed as cheating since it's the hookers job and no feelings are involved) and the couple only fucks to reproduce and for appearances, even the legal system has backed up paid infidelity.
