If he was properly ashamed of his degeneracy and made a reasonable effort to keep it hidden I would agree with you.

But he flaunted his fetish in public showing that he cant control his urges. He should be in a nuthouse until he is cured.

If he cant handle the scorn of normal people then he should have kept it private.
