Funny, I think I remember teachers' unions fighting pretty hard for online learning last year, saying it was just as effective as in person. I wonder what changed? It couldn't be that parents actually got to hear what was being taught to their children, could it? They only bitched about parents listening in because ...it made the student unsafe, somehow?
And, of course, the vaccine works but you still need to wear a mask and stay distant and sometimes it might not work and you can still catch a cold.
