Vegans have been pushing this for awhile. There's some graffiti stickers up where I live with silhouettes of animals and the diseases that jumped from them and telling us to stop eating meat. Making it a White man stop eating meat thing is even more pernicious though. I'm sure natives could hunt to their heart's content, even endangered stuff.
