Microsoft is as woke as most other tech companies. However defense contracts are not decided by how woke you are but by how much money the company pays to individuals that facilitate this contracts.

What I think happened is that the guys getting payed off decided to get money from more then one source and now they have to open it up.

It will instead pursue a deal with both Microsoft and Amazon and possibly other cloud service providers.

So greed and not woke-ism.
