So lately i saw a video trying to push the claims that Japanese are not indigenous and that they displaced the indigenous Jomon(never mind that they in fact have Jomon anscestry) and that Ainu are actually indigenous(never mind they are mixed with northerner), and that they were oppressed and yaddie yaddie ya. There was a comment that corrected that shit in the video https://ibb.co/D1H9tQf
But anyways at the end of the video he pushes this multiculturalism message for Japan and then has the gull to try to sell "an authentic japanese snack box" after shitting all over the Japanese . There's this push to claim japanese is not indigenous to push multiculturalism on them.
I wonder if the same people would be cool with pushing out other peoples who have lived in an area for an extended period of time…. Like the Turks from Byzantium. Or dissolving all sorts of borders for the Roman Empire. Quite a few modern day countries were apart of Rome for a much longer time than they have been independent. Or significant portions of the Middle East for Babylonian, Assyrian, or Persian empires. Or give Egypt back its historical borders. These people pick a random point in time and claim x group are victims when in reality someone was always somewhere else first and they get conquered. The only thing new to my knowledge is that we now have groups within countries who wish their own civilizations to be conquered.
