Pretty disturbing how often people automatically assume white people act with racist reasons (almost like they're projecting). Also disturbing (but unfortunately not surprising) to see a sitting judge support the ideas that white people are unable to be non racist enough to be trusted with judging the guilt of a nonwhite person. I guarantee this judge would have no problem with a white person being sentenced by a majority non white jury. Literally, "I don't have to prove my presumption, you have to prove it's wrong". So fucked. Only consolation is the criminal hasn't been released and is getting tried by another, hopefully less racist, judge.
