The question is a "mind question" on whether one should wear masks if you think doing so is participating in a lie:
I feel like being forced to wear masks is a violation of personal rights, but I want to respect the rights of businesses to decide what they require. How do I act? I feel weak. As you say, I feel if I don't stop wearing them I'm participating in a lie, and if I don't stop there's no end.
The question before (which I suspect the questioner was referring to when he says "as you say") was related to pornography, where in his answer he says the following:
I think repeatedly engaging in a behavior that you judge yourself to be morally reprehensible is a form of performative contradiction which is the acting out of a lie, and I suspect you know that or you wouldn't be asking the question.
Basically the same question in two different contexts, yet the "safe" question gets the straightforward answer and the one that might get him kicked off youtube and uninvited from cocktail parties gets the Tim Pool "it's complicated" treatment.

Honestly at this point he met my expectations.
