The Woke have always played Three-card Monte with their definitions to obfuscate their intentions when they face criticism.

Chris Rufo has been successful in fixing the brand "Critical Race Theory" to their bullshit, and now regular Americans are starting to understand that it's not just weirdos talking about safe spaces, it's a horrible, destructive ideology.

This is really pissing the Woke off, and they are mustering all kinds of self-contradictory arguments to their defense, as well as upping their hostile rhetoric (which is 100% projection of their own hostility).

The most common defenses used by True Believers and useful idiots were:

• You're a racist!
• That's not Real™ CRT!
• Critical Race Theory is a field of academic inquiry not a unified belief or concept!

Now they've added new talking points:

• CRT isn't in K12 schools!
• Even if it is, it's just about understanding racism!
• You just want to ban teaching about slavery!
• This is just right-wing hysteria, like fear of Sharia Law!
• Republicans are trying to distract from 1/6!
• WHITE RAAAAAGE! <-- 100% projection

The problem is, they're going to start acting like cornered animals and doing everything possible to hang on to their power. Propaganda from the press has already been cranked to 11, and they're going to try to pass legislation to silence dissent. Pushing CRT in the military is terrifying. They're trying to shut down school board meetings and arrest parents. They will continue to lie, lie, lie. They will not go quietly.

For the first time in a long time, though, I feel a glint of optimism.
