I am curious if the "Stop Asian Hate" bullshit ever went anywhere or if it quickly died out due to lack of support?
I should note the incident that was used as an excuse was a mentally ill guy shooting up a bunch of massage parlors because they were known prostitution fronts. They used the fact that several of the victims happened to be Asian as an excuse despite the fact it was not racially motivated.
It died out.
Asians didn't grow up with this narrative as "the norm" and I suspect they had a more realistic viewpoint on how this narrative goes.
White people get screwed.
Black people get screwed. BLM gaining momentum correlated directly with a 2x 3x 4x increase in the murder rate in place where black people live.
I think they looked at this and went "No freaking way do I benefit from being in the middle of this".
Keep in mind the only race of people in the US who appear to actually enjoy racial privilege is asians. Asians have the highest median income of any racial group. Asians also enjoy close to the lowest suicide rate. Longest average lifespan I think.
There is absolutely nothing to be gained by involving themselves in this shitshow.
