I was doing my grocery shopping the other day and I came across the magazine and book section and saw those romance novels with the pictures of the musclebound men on them. It always makes me wonder how women get away with having "unrealistic/idealized" versions of men but they can't shut up if a female character in a game/show/movie with a large male fanbase is attractive. Also, notice how men aren't demanding that those romance novels have men with beer bellies on the cover.
It's just crazy how the idea that men like seeing attractive women is the worst thing you can say and any female character of the last few years has to look as masculine as possible.
Although I will say it was funny to see that Charlies Angels movie flop like it did. The original show was before my time but I watch reruns and I enjoyed it for obvious reasons, plus it was a fun show. The movies from the early 2000s was fun as well. It cracked me up that the director whined about men not wanting to watch female action movies, then proceeds to fill her movie with agenda, and then is upset that men didn't go see it.
I knew plenty of guys who enjoyed Tomb Raider.
They have real mental illnesses (mostly Cluster B Personality Disorders), they just aren't the ones they're diagnosed with.
