More often than not folks starting out with game dev follow a couple of tutorials, try something too complex too soon and land up with a number of half built prototypes that arent even playable let alone moving towards completion

Yeah pretty much year of being a hobby dev. My dev directory is a wasteland of half started prototypes and proof of concepts. The number on lesson is to LIMIT THE SCOPE and RELEASE!
