I was raised to never call a man who acted effeminate or did non-masculine things a girl. I'm just continuing proper upbringing by not misgendering these men in makeup.

Props. I cringe when people on our side enter the Kafka trap and say that they will 'misgender' weirdos. The only way to talk about this, is to point out that reasonable people correctly gender them.
