I've not been following this one but this is a comic right? It is not a novel or anything like that.

Shouldn't the character design matter a lot more on comic based characters? There is as much work in the visual aspect as in the writing of comics so by scraping the visual aspect you are reducing the comics to the text?

For me at least the visual aspect of a comic matters a lot. I know it is his art and he can do what ever he wants with it but he is butchering his own work.
