Because they underperform.
And since acknowledging the real reason is verboten, they're left with the assumtion that they're somehow being held down.
And because they can't find this somehow, or see it, or in any way point to what exacly it is that is holding them down, they are left to assume that the conspiracy is sinister and everpresent.
And becuase it's everpresent they start seeing ghosts and "evidence" for it everywhere and in everything.
This is how we get to math and walks in nature being racist.
And it's only the Carribean blacks that underperform, too. Nigerian immigrants to the UK and their descendants do fantastically well, substantially better than English working class kids.
Because the wealth gap between even the poorest Caribbean nation (except Haiti) and the African nations is huge. You are seeing the top 1% coming from Africa, where the GDP per capita of most nations is in the hundreds of dollars, while the Caribbean nations survive by sucking off of the dollars of US tourists, so you are seeing a more complete demographic representation thanks to the greater wealth.
Even comparing within income levels in the UK, the Caribbean black people in England do far worse than Nigerian black people in the same social class.
Caribbean blacks are Americanized, despite not having the same history as American ones + having a completely different culture. They have taken up the same grievance culture against Whites, preference for ooga booga music, and fatherless culture as American blacks while managing to hate Whitey unless he can give them some tourist dollars while managing to run their countries into the ground in the aftermath of de-colonization. It is absolutely no surprise that they would perform worse, but I doubt there would be that much of a statistical difference if the UK wasn't getting the cream of the crop of sub-Saharan African immigrants.
