I think he would do more good for the country as Governor of Florida by at least keeping that one state sane than banging his head against the same brick wall that Trump did.

DeSantis is obviously competent at navigating the Florida political scene, but that doesn't necessarily translate into navigating the D.C political scene.

And the right needs him as an example that it's possible to tell the Feds to fuck off and force the confrontation with them, the same way the left does on all number of issues. Let's see if the Diverse Transgender military can enforce the Insurrection Act.
