I think this is important to discuss because the issue was horrendous when I was in and has only gotten worse since. The new two mom recruitment video brought ridicule but is frankly tame compared to the true bureaucratic nightmare the military has been. Equality of outcome has been in effect in the military for quite some time and has brought us nothing but misery. Imagine being a young man, prospective college athlete, but not sure of what you want for your life. You choose to enlist in the military because you have been raised to believe that it is the pinnacle of dedication to your country. You get in, make your placement in a field that does physical and technical work. So far so good right? Well that’s where the niceties end, you spend the entirety of boot camp watching weak, useless people who can’t be bothered to fold and iron their clothes properly let alone assist in any group tasks. This is the first inkling of what the real military is, the few doing the work of the many. Once you graduate from your training you think well at least I am going to my command, surely it is better there. Oh, how wrong you are. Getting to your command you see all the other related fields and stop for a second. It has just become all too noticeable that there are a ton of out of shape people, not just a little unfit, but to the degree that you didn’t even know that they made uniforms in that size. The second thing that hits you, only about 1/5 women look like they have even the slightest hint of athletic ability required for the job. You brush this off as the military clearly wouldn’t allow people incapable of their jobs continue working. pause for laughter. At this point you are usually at the 1 year mark in your military career, let’s fast forward to the end of year 2. After your second year you have finally hit the depression stage, you realized that the women not only do zero physical work, but tend to congregate together to gossip all day. On top of that, the officers and NCOs always put the same “hard-chargers” on the same work assignments, and by this you learn that being a “hard-charger” gives you the largest workload, no increased pay, and a moderate eval. The best evals have of course been saved for the diversity hires, thots, and occasionally the pet favorite. Around this time period you realize there is no future in the military because you will never be accoladed according to your achievements. Welcome to equality of outcome. All of the extra training you did, extra responsibilities, everything you took on, meant nothing. You were given no more pay than the now nco female who arrived at the same time as you, was force promoted for fucking her superiors and is now pregnant from an officer and in a cushy job. You then say fuck it, ride out the rest of your contract and leave. This leaves the new sucker to come in and replace you. This is how our military has operated for decades now, we have the weakest personnel because we only incentivize the useless.

Sounds like we need a war to straighten things out, one way or another.
Problem is, this policy stuff is a top-down problem and getting killed in war is a bottom-up problem.
