Does the Vice-Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway plan to do anything about this? For example issue a policy saying they will no longer hire anyone with an Ivy League degree obtained after say 2015? Because something tells me that their hiring practices actually encourage hiring people from the universities which are the most "wrongheaded"
Doing nothing but complain when you're #2 at an S&P 100 company rings a bit hollow. Complaining ought to be reserved for us peasants who don't have institutional power.
The problem with corporations is that they have no higher goal than to make money. Which means that they will always follow the path of least resistance.
