Automatic thought: well sure, no problem, should support remaining good news sources
Uhm... on second thought how about no?
My favorite is when you pick out the ad you don't want to see with Ublock and find out every ad was funneled through that ad.
Basically, basically.
I don't remember the exact details, so maybe I am not quite right...
I seem to recall there was some study that showed like a shockingly high % of all internet traffic is just ads and if you were to remove all the ads the internet would be like a billion times less clogged up and faster haha. Of course it made more impact when I saw the actual numbers.....
I'm really looking to the podcast with Pierre--that'll be a good episode.
I am cooling on JP. He has had nothing to say about the actual current human rights abuses going on in Canada (forced hotel stays, raiding churches, pastors getting arrested and kept in cells with lights on 24/7, etc.). I can't believe - since Soviet study is sort of his thing - that he isn't commenting about all the parallels going on up here with the likes of 1920's Russia.
