Wrote a piece that touches on Brandon Mitchell, the Chauvin juror who's an activist with a big mouth - and why we need to not forget him, because he overplayed his hand. Ties into the culture war and what's going on, figured y'all might enjoy it.

He didn't overplay shit, because he got away with it.
That story isn't over, my friend :) Most people are so clueless and lost.
One of two things will happen: They'll uphold the verdict, in which case we're WAY close to some kind of major break OR it'll be tossed (between Waters and this guy). The closer it gets to that legal proceeding, the more focus on this guy, the more op-ed's, etc.
Looking back, or looking forward: this dude's massively racist and evil on the level of a raging totalitarian. The shame will be the original verdict, but the redemption arc is slapping it down.
I'll REALLY worry if they get away with it though. I think that'll break people who are a lot less mild and moderate than I am.
I guarantee you they will uphold the verdict.
The left has absolved Blacks of all accountability.
We'll see what happens. I don't pretend to know what will happen, just what should happen if we follow the law.
I don't agree with your second statement, but I would say it's uncomfortably close to the truth - there is a different set of rules in place currently despite the actual law and this must be stopped, on all fronts.
