I don't know if the 4x number is too high or low, it is what it is. I don't see why they wouldn't be more likely to catch all types, again, due to the anatomy. Could it have something to do with men getting checked out less perhaps? They go to doctors less. What is the demographic break down? Are certain groups spiking this for all women? I've never studied it much in depth, just know that anatomy wise they do get STDs more. I have seen studies that women, and men, are not actually sleeping around as much as hook-up culture would have us believe, and that men sleep with 1 person more than your average woman. It's the outliers who are sleeping around a lot, not the majority.
lol, this has got to be bait. you cant seriously believe this. male virginity is on the rise, not female.
In the general population, yes, it was something like 3 or 4 partners for women and 4 or 5 for men, I'm paraphrasing. But your average person really isn't *lutting it up. Men just sleep around a little more. Also, both are on the rise and the percentage of female virgins remains higher and was already higher to start with. This article says they both increased 22 percent. https://www.livescience.com/13072-sex-stats-virgins-rise.html --- though this is an older study. I'm trying to find a newer one. Just because male virginity is rising doesn't mean it has eclipsed female virginity which was already higher. But I have to comb through some stuff to figure it out where I found better info before. Educational attainment is correlated with virginity I believe, and we have more women than ever going to school (and then thinking they're too good to marry "beneath them" and "pricing themselves" out of a good husband). So it would make sense for more female virgins too. I get there's lots of trampy behavior on social media and in the media, but that's selection bias (trampy narcissits love to post and get validation), propaganda, and the effects of pornography, which is shown to increase these thoughts about women. It's not actually real, just something that's turning people on each other.
lol. but no. 80% of women reproduce 40% of men do. There are a small percentage of men that do sleep around more than women but its 20% or less of men, its not all men as you are portraying.
I never said all men sleep around, I said the opposite, most men (and women) only have a handful of partners, but there's a one person difference in that handful and it's one point to the males. Yes, more women reproduce, but that isn't the same thing as having more partners, or more sex, that's just more overlap of who they sleep with and get pregnant with. subtle difference. There's also the difference between less sex and no sex, marriage and never married. Seems to be less sex and less marriage ultimately, but the virginity thing usually resolves itself in the twenties for both sexes, was it 98% or something? I don't know, can't stand reading this stuff. i understand it's implications are important but but as a religious person everyone is getting upset for the wrong reasons here. Not sleeping around outside of marriage is good for society. A lot of these guys are just mad they can't do what they shouldn't be doing anyways, lot of women too, and that will decrease marriage satisfaction and stability later for both (though that was a different and small study that is often sighted around these discussions).
