This is entirely what happened during the great migration, black Americans Balkanized when their poor Irish, Slavic, Italian and Scottish peers in the ghettos assimilated. Northern blacks were more accepted than the Irish by every accountable metric, and immigrant blacks from the Caribbean earned more money in New England cities then either the native blacks and Irish. This historical rewrite makes every white American despite ancestry guilty of original sin, while every black American despite ancestry is the tortured victim.
