its reductionist to think that corporate actions are based on pure profit, just the same to think consumers are dictating corporate actions.
A small minority of radical leftists are dictating policies and culture now. These corporations have been forced to take political positions or took them themselves. The general consumer doesnt like it obviously. As seen in Twitters stock, the Oscar viewership, MSM viewership, professional sports viewership, etc. But that isnt stopping them, they know its bad for business but they pander to the captured culture of the radical leftists. Im sure these businesses will limp along for many years and eventually fold.
Everything I hear about Canada makes me dislike it more and more.
It would be odd to bail out big tech because while I dont agree with it, big banks and airlines actually have an impact on the country going bankrupt. Big tech, I cant even think of the impact. Of course I dont agree with bailing out banks or airlines either.
