Saw it the other day; first new movie I saw in theaters since Joker, because I choose to consume next to no newly Hollywood propaganda schlock.
Seriously, folks, you're fine without your HBO Max and Netflix, stop giving those who hate you money and attention.
Anyway, I begrudgingly went to the movies since a family member was in town, and it was the only thing playing that I figure I could even remotely stomach.
Rating: Excellent. Highly recommended. Nigh-zero wokeness, and Bob Odenkirk was hard as hell, fucking everyone up.
It easily beats out John Wick for the top position of the "retired badass goes back to killing all the bad guys" genre.
They need to push gun control, because they will never be able to achieve complete subjugation with an armed populace.
As much as people love to whine about how no one does anything even with so many guns in-hand, the mere presence of millions of weapons and ammo to match in the hands of private citizens means there's no monopoly on violence for the establishment. Ownership itself is a deterrent.
An already vastly outnumbered enforcement class isn't going to want to break down doors if there's the potential for a rifle or shotgun behind every one.
And unfortunately for the Left, they lost the moral war on disarmament when their rush to destabilize the country with riots and "police reform" drove even hardliner Dems to the gun store.
I think that's the second or third good review I've heard. Really unusual since there's been almost nothing new I've liked lately. Maybe I'll check it out once it's out of the theater.
Watched it the other day, it was quite good. Those expecting John Wick fights should be patient as the story takes time to escalate.
