I'm much more of the "You get what you fucking deserved, Murry" mentality. Years of them dismissing as a slippery slop anytime one brought up that "and so when you get those rights, what's next? Because the organizations and charities you built to earn your rights are too big of an enterprise to just simply go away. The March of Dimes didn't go away after the cure for polio, no they're still around and chose a new cause."
