The war's far from over! It's only just beginning. The battle lines are being drawn, and given the culturally-rooted nature of the fight where singular communities are not fighting each other, but are instead disparate ideologies across most of the country, it's going to take some time to coalesce properly. We're mixed up now, and our beliefs and values have become incompatible. Once enough weight has gathered on either side we'll then move into the 'fast phase' of "everything moved so slowly at first, and then it all happened very suddenly."
