Correct, but the media has been hinting at the composition of the jury as in the number of men and women, cbs had a vid where they discussed what neighborhood a juror lived in. All things that should not be public knowledge so jurors can’t not be threatened or coerced to vote a certain way. On top of the politicians politicizing this case, or sharing their opinions on if they think he is guilty or not, there is no way this could be called a fair or speedy trial
It would result in a hung jury meaning that the state would have to bring the case to trial again at a later date and we'll be doing the same thing next year...

Considering it took one day I don't think a not guilty is in the cards in any universe.
