Imgur got really bad the past few years. I think they were having issues staying afloat after reddit dropped them as there image hosting and prior to the 2020 election they went full blown TDS and just ran with it. Best to stay away from there and not use the service at all.
Every time i get linked there for something else i look at the sidebar at most viral and 9 times out of ten, theres some TDS/anti conservative garbage staring back at you, its fucking daily.
I finally just blocked that entire panel with adblock yesterday.
