I don't remember much from Mission Impossible 2 but check Captain America: Winter Soldier in freaking 2014.

The globalists have systematically rotted out the culture of Western nations for decades leading us to this point. It's nice to believe they're incompetent but clearly they're doing a lot right.
The left/globalists are badly lead, prone to infighting, demonstrably insecure and thus easy to provoke, whilst being completely detached from reality. This is not a formidable enemy, indeed it's a testament to the abject of the cowardice of the right that they've somehow lost these battles.
