I'll freely admit; When I first saw the original phone video, I thought the exact same thing the bystanders did. It looked really, really bad. I thought it was even worse than the Philando Castile shooting. I'm not the least bit surprised those people thought they saw a man get murdered infront of them.

...But the second I saw the body cam footage, it's obvious that Floyd is completely strung out on something. "I can't breathe" starts LONG before he's on the ground or in any kind of hold that could be restricting his airways.

The guy fucking OD'd.
