Oh, I almost forgot this.

Soros is a global hate figure among conservative and populist critics in countries ranging from his native Hungary to Israel

But we were told that criticism of Soros is anti-Semitic. How is it possible that people in Israel hate him?

The Israeli government certainly doesn't hate him.

It's just very convenient to put on a couple different masks and swap them out between scenes.
