How do you respond to people who tell you that you are being selfish if you don’t treat Covid like the zombie apocalypse where millions are dying each day?
I live in Texas and the governor recently lifted the mask mandate. Now a lot of businesses will still require them but so many people are freaking out and local news agencies are only talking to “experts” that think this is a horrible decision. I fear this may cost him the election because now the local and national media will go into hysterics over any cases let alone deaths.
And of course now there are people posting on Facebook that they choose to wear a mask. So virtuous and brave. To me it’s counterproductive to make a fuss at a store about it so I wear it where required but I’m very comfortable going without one.
Yea. All the businesses moving here is a double edged sword. Great for TX economy but it brings in lots of blue staters
They're going to ruin texas.
Maybe I am uninformed, but didn’t Texas go harder Red in 2020 than it did in 2016? And didn’t a study show that the majority of new arrivals were voting Red?
That’s great if it’s true. I know Dems gained ground. In my county it went blue barely but on the flip side a lot of Hispanics went red.
