The thing is that different supporters do it for different reasons - some are seeking monetary profit or career advancement through opportunism, some are ivory tower academics who whipped themselves into an ideological frenzy, some are rogue state agents, some are "minorities" looking for gibs, some actually hate whites for reasons such as jealousy, etc.

Furthermore, I think it's clear that the people who originally pushed for this are no longer the ones setting the pace. The whole thing is gaining momentum as well as fracturing. Thus expecting a Grand Unified Theory that explains it all is futile. Only a brainlet would expect it to neatly converge into one final boss.
