Ok, I'm not that sorry to say it, honestly; Islam is the Mormonism of the Abrahamic religious triad, except its founder is even more of a monstrous pedo.
All the same, I appreciate the way of thinking: "Let's adopt the hardline traditionalist religion; that'll show the Left!"
Except, it won't. The power that Islam currently holds is completely dependent on the hyper-hypocritical Leftist doctrine of Intersectionality.
A bunch of lily-whites start praying to Mecca, and Islam loses the protective status it has as a 'po' widdle oppressed brown people religion' and instantly becomes the target of every wailing blue hair from here to Saudi Arabia. Or, at the very least they might try to differentiate between "White" Islam and "Brown" Islam, which would still cause some of the later to be targeted by the smoothest brains, and would result in some wrathful retaliation, but I digress.
Either Christianity is reclaimed and goes full Crusade mode, or Populism becomes the de facto religion of the Right.
Unless the Caliphate comes into full prominence, in which case, hand me my Pulwar and let me grow out a shitty beard.
No.
Let's START a hardline traditionalist religion.
Play the long game. Stop dragging around several thousand years of detris and have a new revelation. It worked for the Mormons.
Yes, and let it involve a golden dog statue specifically to piss off the chinks and muzzies.
I'd rather worship anything but a fucking human, thanks. No human-worship for me. Anyway, Jesus is best set as an example for how government should be run (he was only trying to show his followers how a leader should be a servant of his people, not their dictator-bossman), he can be a sort of saint. Keep that pedo Mo in Dante's Hell, tho.
Who said anything about a human?
Christ was the aberration you know. Zoroaster, Abraham, Moses, Muhammed, and Smith alike never claimed to be gods.
Here's the problem I have with Christianity as it stands today. It asserts Jesus was god. That was a mistake. A mistake... made by the councils.
The Trinity... is bullshit. Christ was sent by god, touched by god, speaking for god, but he was not god. And we need a branch of Christianity willing to say that straight out. The unitarians get close, because they definitely agree with me that the trinity was BS, but they still come down on the side that he was god... somehow.
What matters is the sermons and volition.
Sola fide is also bullshit. It should read Sola actus. Only actions. I understand why Luther had to say it, because the Catholics were corrupt shitheels thinking they could buy god's favor with nicer churches instead of helping the suffering or just not being assholes.
One thing that needs to be said to both Christians and Hindoos is this:
Gods can take care of themselves, and they're not going to put themselves in with a mom who would abort them, or a cow destined for the slaughterhouse.
Frankly, I'm just waiting for the Big Comeuppance. You know that saying about how there's always someone smarter, faster, better, more bad-ass than you? Apply that to the species-level. Man's hubris balloon is ripe for the popping, like a big ugly white-headed pimple.
Ahh, this gets my imagination going. What a big event it would be if aliens showed up, or we gene splice some super beings. It may sound a little sarcastic, but such things would blow the door off the hinges and really shake our foundations.
With our present course, perhaps an AI superlord? Not really the same impact, though.
