I hope you're prepared for toddler-esque, Shadiversity-infuriating, Rey-style swinging of swords and axes like baby's first experience at a LARP battle. I can't wait for a women so lightweight I could backpack her like Yoda for a day and only get slightly winded beat up 2 dozen orcs and out-maneuver 3 dozen goblins that are twice her size. I can't wait for the fat lady to be some important princess who sasses the main "hero" and puts him in his place with her superior knowledge and wisdom of heroism. I can't wait for the racism episode, and the sexism episode, and gay episode to preach and soapbox about modern politics and ignore traditional concepts of bravery and self-sacrifice that brought us stories like Lord of the Rings to begin with. I envy the dead, who know peace from such evils and blasphemy.
Lord of the Rings was great because it was a wholesome Christian story acted by beautiful, talented people in amazing open sets.
It cannot be repeated with such ugly actors. Both their body and their soul are warped and twisted.
I guarantee absolutely none of them will put in the work to learn realistic swordplay as was done on the set of the LotR movies.
