Damn. Not surprised really though.
I'm starting to realize that it's going to become important to be more prepared for unreliable utilities in the world of the greenists. It's not even the fact that it's wind or solar that bugs me, but the haphazard and downright stupid attitude towards reliability. It's just throw it up, shut off the old stuff that still worked, and when things go to shit, blame the opposition or call for stupid shit like battery farms.
Won't someone please think of the Chinese Lithium mines!!!
I know right? Coal mining is the end of the world, very bad. Lithium mining? A-ok! It's like a meme.
Batteries have plenty of good uses, but dropping them out in a field in ridiculous quantities to make up for shortfalls in wind and solar is just stupid.
Don't tell them about the uranium mines.
Or the helium ones.
