My point isn't that no one will ever do anything.
My only point is that the logic "keep pushing and something will happen" is not being validated by anything in the last few decades. If anything, the opposite. Observing reality seems to say that a more accurate statement would be "keep pushing, and we'll continue to do nothing." Not a criticism, not a call to violence; merely an observation. If people were going to do something after some line was crossed, I think we would have already seen it. But, like I said, it will probably be something completely inconsequential that kicks shit off. It's less about a specific line, and more about cumulative bullshit overload. If shit does kick off, it's looking like it won't be something big and important that does it; we've already had plenty of that, and it's been radio silence. It will be something tiny, that causes someone to just flip out and lose their shit.
