They can never win, no - the Soviet Union eventually collapsed, China's not communist any more, North Korea is some weird hereditary leader-as-god affair.
But they can do you tremendous damage while losing, can't they?
Evil is self-defeating, ultimately. Sadly, it can cause all sorts of ruination as it burns.
