She is also a political progressive and a woman of color, and she is the frequent target of smear campaigns and disinformation. She has stated multiple times that right-wing smear campaigns have prompted death threats against her.

They managed to write a puff piece inside a fact checker were they agree with the facts but say it is mostly false anyway.
That has been my experience reading 90% of fact-checker articles. It's not "here's why the claim is wrong" it's "here's why the claim is correct but doesn't matter!"
It's not about being factually accurate, it's about being morally right!
