I'd rather buy gaming-related stocks in which I see potential than try to figure out whose price is depressed by short sellers. The difference is I'm talking about investing in companies that are doing pretty well but in a huge growth industry. By that measure, there are a few that I have been long on for a while.
CD Projekt REd actually took kind of a beating in the wake of the Cyberpunk launch. It has recovered somewhat. I think those guys have a good thing going; some people will disagree saying they've gone woke or something. Paradox Interactive has a pretty sweet business model from an investor's perspective. I expect Vampire to be a big hit. I may be biased on Paradox since they actually make games that I like, but at the same time, I have something of an expert opinion that they make good games.
