They absolutely do. Who controls the stock exchanges that their money is in? If they wanted to, they could bankrupt the old money families in minutes. Whether there would be retribution is another question, but do they hold more power than old money? I would say so. When they can delist your entire portfolio because "not enough women on the board", I'd say that power has shifted.
