Now we should also look into making a push to free and open source software for our desktop/laptop use. It’s really hard to de-platform people and apps from an OS if users can legally just grab the source code, remove the offending code, rebuild and re distribute the OS. You know Microsoft and Apple have to be collecting tons of user data on people who thought they were just helping find bugs so they could improve the OS which they could now use against them (or an activist employee could)
