This is the same "representation matters" argument made by the Woke.

If it were true, then the world would be full of women becoming men to emulate the heroes that have been common throughout history.

With the last decade's shift to the "all women are smart strong heroes for merely existing" portrayals in all media, you'd expect girls to feel empowered by their gender now. Instead, the last decade has seen a batshit insane %4000 percent increase in female-to-male transitions in young girls, far outnumbering the male-to-female trans.

The media may be lionizing women and demonizing masculinity, but their representations don't seem to correspond to the trends in gender transitions at all.
