west seattlite here - Downtown Seattle has been Beirut since about May. I'm down there more often than I like because I have to change buses there to get to my hosp. appointments.
It's abandonded, boarded up, graffitti'ed over, and populated only by the street crazies and a few masked pedestrians. You have to see it to believe it.
It's just fucking post apocalyptic if you're standing on a familiar street just waiting for the bus.
I'm actually having a really hard time dealing with it.
Tons of businesses boarded up around capital hill. Is this a recent thing?
