No doubt that we crossed a political Rubicon during this election for better and for worse, judging on how Pedo Joe is cheating his way in, for worse. People are giving their freedoms away in order to get a chance of Ambrosia (Sorry for the Deus Ex references, it's scary how close reality and the game are), while calling people who protest these lockdowns and bullshit measures, Fascist, Nazi, etc. Tensions on both sides are building up and I believe we heading into either a Massive Civil War or Balkanization Event that will make Yugoslavia look like child's play.
I personally stop giving a shit about politics after this "election", and wanting to live my life to fullest during these 2 months. I'm been splashing my cash a bit more (Buying 75 dollar bottles of whiskey, $400 military surplus rifles, etc.), and wondering if anyone else is feeling the same way.
There's things I don't give a shit at all about anymore--Covid for example. I don't care how many cases there are, I don't care if I get it, I don't care to take "safety" measures. Politics? Well I'll probably try to be a bit more involved for a little while for the sake of trying to save things until the bubble bursts.
I understand feeling like it's all for nothing and the world is totally gone, and I don't necessarily disagree with that. I've just been distracting myself really with things I should have been doing that double as extra protection from clown/communist world. Things like exodus from the "free" services of big tech and protecting parts of my savings from the inevitable inflation that's coming and has already happened. I haven't changed spending habits much yet, but I've always been one to buy stupid shit on a whim anyway, particularly if it's in the sub $500 range. I may adjust some of my savings next year, I used to travel a lot (for fun) and I've totally lost interest. Virus world took 95% of the fun out of it.
Otherwise general day-to-day, I've been playing video games, occasional movies, and I've gotten into anime/manga. The latter was totally unexpected (I used to laugh at the stuff) but it's become a huge breath of fresh air compared to the Netflix world of hour long woke propaganda named after random genitalia.
